About The Edible.

To be Edible (no not that kind of edible) is to be “fit, suitable or safe to be eaten”. A perfect embodiment of my entire philosophy; where possible, everything you put in or on your body and live with in your home is suitable to be eaten…just like how our ancestors lived, simply. 

I want to build a space where I can break it all down to simplify things. There is soooo much information out there and it is easy to get caught up and then do absolutely nothing. And, it is completely normal to feel overwhelmed by it all and simply give up. I am here to help.

As a certified holistic nutritionist, I specialize in blood sugar management, stress, Type1 diabetes, Type 2 diabetes and parental care giver support and hormonal support. And I try to structure everything for you in a way that helps you just start.

I focus on a non-judgy approach of ‘doing more’ of or ‘less of’ things on your path of wellness. Meeting you where you are today, your starting place, your foundation. Once you get more agile you can build up from there…or not, no judgements here! Changing the way you eat and your lifestyle are the very hardest things to do. 

This is why western medicine is so popular, people need relief, and relief fast, so there is no question why so many people turn to medication as a first resort. In holistic nutrition we look for preventative measures that can help to head off future disease.

There is no perfect. Look for progress over perfection, little bits you can do each day, week or month or year to improve your well being. As my habit coach says take tiny steps for bigger change overall.

I want this space to help you, not make you feel guilty for not flipping a switch and changing everything immediately. I am working hard myself to find that balance myself. Some days there simply is no time to do even a little bit and that is okay.
