Urban Lung Rescue.

We know living in urban areas is challenging for our lungs due to increased air pollution.

Eating well, nourishing yourself and clearing your home of toxins are simple ways to live a little healthier.

Here are some other simple things you can do:

  • Avoid outdoor exercise during times of high pollution
  • Use natural air purifiers to filter out pollutants and get out for a walk in the forest
  • Surround yourself with trees and other greenery in urban areas can help improve air quality and create a healthier environment for your whole family.

I am the mother of a son diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at 10 months old. My soul is sad that it has happened to him, our happy little boy, but I will not stop until I have done everything I can to help him get through this and stay healthy and happy. Being so young he represents only 1% of the population that has Type 1 so I hope that by writing and sharing our journey we can get more information out there to help other families with infants and to keep my loving family updated on his journey.
